Thursday 28th July 2011 9.30-4pm
We are pleased to announce in July there will be a one day training session from 9.30 to 4pm, with refreshments included at an introductory price of £50 per person. Participants would receive a certificate and booklet.
We will be focusing on all the different types of communication that can be used to help make your services accessible to deaf people, stereotyping, terminology and will be giving advice and support, answering any questions on the day. We will also cover the technology that can make businesses accessible, how to book communication support and cover all types of deaf people, not just those who use BSL.
You’ll also have a go at being deaf yourself, so you will understand more fully the impact of deafness on mental health and attitudes.
We hope you will join us for what is promised to be a fun and informative day. Hurry, places are limited to a maximum of 15 per session.
You may book online for this course via the Eventbrite event ticketing website:–
