The Wellbeing Project has received some funding from Barnado’s to run our award winning “Ignite Your Life” events at our Wellbeing Project premises in St Helens. We have some remaining free ‘last minute’ places for our sessions on 23rd and 24th February, commencing at 4.30pm and finishing at 7.00pm.
These community based events are targeting individuals who’s emotional wellbeing may be effected by this economic downturn and who would benefit from practical, and fun, ideas to help lift the spirits and move forward. The event has three elements
Element 1
Emotional Literacy (laughter therapy) how we use humor and laughter as a mechanism to stay well, promote feelings of positivity that includes how to find our feel good factors and turning bad days into good day
Element 2
Psycho-education component that teaches participants top tips and techniques to stay resilient - including how to spot the signs and symtoms of depression and anxiety. Key to this is: The five ways to wellbeing. This includes practical information on what you can do to enhance your life, how to embed the 5 ways to wellbeing into your life and how it can impact positively on your outlook .
Element 3
Creativity and mental wellbeing, how creativity enhances feelings of wellbeing, in particular we look at individuals that have used their creative talents to form their own business and social enterprise.
Everyone leaves feeling emotionally recharged and inspired
