Claimant count for NW Region at the beginning of the period was 195,741 (Nov 09) which was 12.9% of the National total.  NW region count has now fallen to it’s lowest in the 12 month period with 174,845 (Oct 10) which is 12.86% of the National total.  Over the period there has been a drop in
